Mayor of Ackworth
At a meeting of Ackworth Parish Council in the Wakefield District on Mnoday November 10th it was agreed to look at the possibility of having a Mayor.

Ackworth Roll of Honour
A new book, "Ackworth Role of Honour" is to be released shortly. This new book is dedicated to all the service men and women from Ackworth, who lost their lives in the two World Wars.
